3 more years of acquisition tax breaks for rental houses
Jeju City outlines new real estate policy

Acquisition and property tax reductions for rental housing are being extended for three years.

Jeju City is extending the benefits in line with the national government’s real estate policy.

The breaks will stay in place through the end of 2021. They were scheduled to expire at the end of next year.

The rules for rental income tax exemption will also be eased. They currently stipulate that a beneficiary have three units, but that standard will fall to just one.

Finally, beginning in February, tenants will be able to apply for “jeonse” rent insurance without their landlord’s consent. The limit of that insurance is also being expanded from 400 million to 500 million won.

임대주택 취득세 감면기간 3년 연장

임대주택에 대한 취득세와 재산세 감면 기간이 3년 더 연장됩니다.

제주시는 정부의 8.2 부동산 후속 대책으로 세금 감면혜택 등을 시행한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 취득세와 재산세 감면 기간이 당초 내년 말에서 2021년 말까지 연장되고
임대소득세 감면 기준도 현재 3호에서 1호 이상으로 확대됩니다.

임차인에 대해서는 내년 2월부터 집주인의 동의를 받지 않아도 전세금 반환 보증에 가입할 수 있고, 가입 전세금 한도도 당초 4억 원에서 5억 원으로 늘어납니다.
