장애인주차구역 위반 4천 700건 적발

장애인 전용 주차구역에서의 불법행위가 근절되지 않고 있습니다.

제주시는 올 들어 지금까지
장애인 주차구역 위반 차량으로 4천 700여 건 적발하고
과태료 4억 200만 원을 부과했다고 밝혔습니다.

하루 평균 13대가
장애인 주차구역을 위반해 적발된 것입니다.

제주시는
장애인 주차가능 표지를 부착하지 않고
전용 구역에 주차하거나
표지를 부착했더라도
보행 장애인이 탑승하지 않는 경우 단속하고 있습니다.

3. 4,500 cases of illegal handicap parking this year
Fines not seeming to slow the daily average

Illegal parking in handicapped spaces is still rampant, with the province having 4,700 cases on record for this year alone.

This is 13 cases a day on average, and fines have totalled 402 million won so far.

The province is cracking down on vehicles parked unlawfully in handicapped spaces, meaning that they have no disabled sign on display. Even though a car may have a sign, the disabled person must be driving it to park in a registered handicap space.
