국토부, 제2공항 타당성 재조사 용역 발주

정부가
제2공항에 대한 입지선정 타당성 재조사와
기본계획 수립용역 발주 절차를 진행합니다.

국토교통부는 오는 28일까지
사전규격공고와 입찰공고를 진행한 뒤
기술제안서 평가 등을 거쳐
내년 2월 중 용역에 착수한다고 밝혔습니다.

국토부는
독립성과 공정성을 확보하는 차원에서 타당성 조사와
기본계획 수립용역 업체를 분리하기로 했습니다.

특히 타당성 조사를 우선 진행하고, 이 과정에서 공개 설명회나 토론회 등
주민참여 기회를 확대한다는 방침입니다.

4. Land Ministry again starts feasibility study for new airport
Next steps to be taken in February

The government is taking the first steps towards a new feasibility study for the location of Jeju’s new airport.

The land ministry will announce a bid by next Thursday. After reviewing proposals regarding technology and other aspects, the ministry will start conducting its new study sometime around February of next year.

Authorities have decided to select different firms to conduct the feasibility study and to set basic plans in order to secure independence and fairness.

The feasibility study will be conducted first, after which there will be further opportunities for residents to participate in public briefings and discussions.
