Fines for driving in bus and taxi lanes
Beginning in January, violators will be fined up to \60,000

Authorities will in begin in January fining motorists who drive in bus and taxi lanes.

Central mass transit priority lanes are always off limits to other vehicles. Outer lanes will be monitored for violations between 7 and 9 a.m. and then again from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

All violators will be fined. Smaller vehicles, including motorcycles, will be fined 50,000 won. Larger vans and trucks will have to pay 60,000 won.

새해부터 대중교통 우선차로제 단속

제주특별자치도가 내년 1월 1일부터 대중교통 우선차로제에 대한 단속에 나섭니다.

단속지역과 시간은 대중교통 중앙차로제 구역과 가로변 우선차로로 중앙차로제의 경우 24시간, 가로변은 오전 7시부터 오전 9시까지, 그리고 오후 4시 30분부터 7시 30분까지입니다.

위반차량에 대해서는 이륜차나 승용차, 4륜 이하 화물차는 5만원, 승합차와 4톤 초과 화물차는 6만원의 과태료가 부과됩니다.
