No provincial councilors on Ora Tourism Complex committee
Group responsible for verifying capital of project developer

No provincial council members will sit on the capital verification committee for the Ora Tourism Complex.

The provincial government will establish the committee. Its 11 members will include government officials, civic group representatives, economists, lawyers, and accountants.

The province had wanted two local council members to sit on the committee, as well, but they refused.

Council representatives say the body could not reach unanimous support for the capital verification process of the complex. They say the agreement on the issue that was reached was only between the governor and the former speaker Shin Gwan-hong, who recently died.

오라관광단지 자본검증위원회를 구성해 다음주 출범시키기로 했습니다.

제주도는 당초 검증원회에 도의원 2명도 포함하기로 했지만, 제주도의회가 불참 의사를 전했습니다.

제주도의회는 불참 이유에 대해 자본검증은 원지사와 고 신관홍 의장간 합의였을 뿐
의회 전체가 동의한 것으로 아니라고 밝혔습니다.
