JDC sending local foster families to Olympics

The Jeju Free International City Development Center is spending tens of millions of won to send local children and their foster families to Pyeongchang to see the Winter Olympics.

At a Friday event at the Jeju foster home center, the JDC said it was spending 50 million won on the program.

The JDC and the foster home center will select beneficiaries and pay for their admission tickets, accommodations, meals, and transportation for the games.

제주국제자유도시개발센터 JDC가 도내 위탁 가정이 평창 동계올림픽을 관람할 수 있도록 5천만 원을 기탁했습니다

JDC는 오늘(22일) 제주가정위탁지원센터에서 평창 동계올림픽 관람 지원 후원식을 가졌습니다.

JDC와 센터 측은 위탁 아동과 가족들을 대상으로 참가자들을 선정한 뒤 숙식과 경기장 입장권 그리고 교통편 등을 지원할 예정입니다.
