지속적인 인구유입과 관광객 증가로
올해에도 제주경제는 성장세를 이어갈 것으로 전망됐습니다.

한국은행 제주본부는
내년 제주지역 내 총생산은
올해보다 4.5% 성장할 것으로 예측했습니다.

이같은 성장률은 올해보다 0.1%p 높은 것입니다.

특히 관광 등 서비스업의 성장률이 크게 올라
전반적인 제주경제를 견인할 것으로 내다봤습니다.

하지만 건설분야의 경우
최근 허가물량이 크게 감소한 점을 들어
성장세가 둔화될 것으로 예상했습니다.

2. Jeju economy expected to grow 4.5% next year
Tourism, service sectors lead the growth

Due to the steady rise in population and tourist numbers, the Jeju economy is expected to continue to grow.

According to the Jeju branch of the Bank of Korea, Jeju’s gross regional domestic product will grow about 4.5% more than this year. This is 0.1% ahead of 2017.

In particular, the tourism and service sectors are expected to grow considerably and lead the local economy.

However, growth in the construction sector is expected to slow as the number of building permits drops significantly.
