Mobile tourist information center hits the road
Van will make stops at major tourist sites, event venues

The provincial government and the provincial tourism association have started service of a mobile tourist information center.

The van was designed to make stops at the island’s main tourist attractions and event venues. It will offer tourists information on local travel and provide interpretation services.

Officials say they want to differentiate this center from others and so they will use it in street events and other activities to encourage more people to take advantage of its unique offerings.

찾아가는 이동형 제주관광안내소 운영

제주도와 제주도관광협회가 내년부터 찾아가는 이동형 제주관광안내소를 운영합니다.

이동형 제주관광안내소는 도내 주요 관광명소나 이벤트 개최장소를 찾아가 관광객을 대상으로 관광안내와 외국어 통역 등 편의서비스를 제공하게 됩니다.

이와함께 거리 이벤트와 같은 참여형 프로그램을 수시로 운영하는 등 기존 관광안내소와 차별화해 나갈 계획입니다.
