1. Jeju household debt tops \13.5t
Up 23.2% in 1 year, national average: 7.4%

The growth of household debt has started to retreat elsewhere in the country, but here in Jeju, it continues to expand.

According to the Jeju branch of the Bank of Korea, island households owed an all-time-high 13.54 trillion won last November. That’s a full 23.2 percent more than the year before.

The national average annual growth was just 7.4 percent.

전국적으로는 가계대출 증가세가 꺾였지만 제주도내 가계대출 규모는 계속해서 늘고 있습니다.
한국은행 제주본부에 따르면 지난해 11월 도내 가계대출 잔액은 13조5,400억원으로 역대 최고치를 경신했습니다.
이는 한 달 사이 1천960억원 늘어난 것으로 1년 전보다 23.2% 증가했습니다.
같은 기간 전국 평균 가계대출 증가율은 7.4%를 기록했습니다.
