3. Province to help small businesses adapt to higher minimum wage
\130,000 per worker in aid available monthly

The provincial government will help small business owners stay in the black now that the minimum wage has gone up.

It will provide 130,000 won monthly per worker to companies with less than 30 employees. For apartment security and cleaning personnel, the province will make the payments even if there are more than 30 employees.

Company owners can apply for the support through community service centers, the Health Insurance Corporation, or the Jeju branch of Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service.

소상공인에 '일자리 안정자금' 지원

최저임금 인상에 따른 소상공인 경영 부담을 완화하기 위해 일자리 안정자금이 지원됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 근로자 30인 미만 고용 사업장과 중소기업 등을 대상으로
근로자 1명당 월 13만원을 지원합니다.

공동주택 경비와 청소 노동자는 30명 이상이라도 일자리 안정자금을 지원 받을 수 있습니다.

신청은 읍면동과 건강보험공단, 근로복지공단 제주지사 등으로 하면 됩니다.
