Up 1.5% in January

Consumer prices in Jeju continue to rise.

According to the Jeju branch of the Honam Regional Statistics Office, the January consumer price index in Jeju was 104.5, 1.5 percent higher than it was in January 2017.

The index for living necessities rose 1.2 percent over the same period to 104.5.

For consumer items, prices for chili powder, lettuce, and squid rose the most, while rates for LPG and city gas jumped 20 percent over the year.

제주 소비자물가 오름세 이어져

제주지역 소비자물가가 계속해서 오르고 있습니다.

호남지방통계청 제주사무소에 따르면 지난달 제주지역 소비자물가지수는 104.5로 1년전보다 1.5% 상승했습니다.

체감물가를 반영하는 생활물가지수는 104.6으로 지난해 같은기간보다 1.2% 올랐습니다.

주요 등락품목을 보면 고춧가루와, 상추, 오징어 등의 가격이 크게 올랐고,
LPG 가스와 도시가스 요금 등도 20% 가량 오른 것으로 나타났습니다.
