3. Provincial council presented with 3 awards
Korean Assn. for Local Government Studies honors regional lawmakers yearly

In its 14th award ceremony, the Korean Association for Local Government Studies presented the Jeju Provincial Council with multiple prizes for its work over the past year.

In the group category, the association awarded an ordinance submitted by council member Jwa Nam-su to preserve and promote the work of the island’s women divers.

In the individual category, judges awarded Lee Sang-bong’s ordinance to boost community involvement in deliberative democracy and Kim Hwang-guk’s proposal on the use of welfare in the education sector.

The association honors local lawmakers from around the country for their work every year.

제주도의회, 우수조례 '3관왕'

제주특별자치도의회가 한국지방자치학회 주관 제14회 우수조례 시상식에서 3관왕을 차지했습니다.

주요내용을 보면 좌남수 의원이 발의한 해녀어업 보존과 육성 조례가 단체 부문 대상에 선정됐습니다.

개인 부문에서는 이상봉 의원이 발의한 숙의민주주의 실현을 위한 주민참여 기본 조례가 우수상을 김황국 의원의 제주도교육청 교육복지 운영 지원 조례가 장려상을 받았습니다.

우수조례 시상식은 매년 전국 지방의회에서 제정된 조례를 대상으로 이뤄집니다.
