2. New ferry on Jeju-Mokpo route
Queen Mary is larger, faster than previous vessel

A new ferry began sailing the Jeju-Mokpo route Tuesday.

The Queen Mary has replaced the Seastar Cruise. It is one of the largest ferries in the nation, capable of accommodating 1,200 passengers and 490 vehicles. It’s also faster - it can make a one-way trip on the route 40 minutes faster than the previous vessel, in only 3 hours and 50 minutes.

The ferry departs Mokpo daily at 9 a.m. and leaves Jeju at 5 p.m.

제주-목포 퀸메리호 6일 부터 운항

제주와 목포를 오가는 퀸메리호가 6일부터 운항에 들어갔습니다.

기존 씨스타크루즈를 대체하는 퀸메리호는 승객 1천 200명과 490여 대의 차량을 실을 수 있는 국내 최대 규모이며, 운항시간은 3시간 50분으로 기존보다 40분 단축됩니다.

목포에서는 매일 오전 9시, 제주에서는 오후 5시에 출발합니다.
