1. Inspections at 70 large development sites
Officials following up on disaster prevention recommendations

The provincial government completed preliminary disaster impact investigations at dozens of large development sites on the island, and authorities are now checking to see if their recommendations are being followed.

Inspectors are examining 70 sites through the end of May. They include construction projects for tourist attractions, residential buildings, roads, and seaports.

In addition to determining if developers are adhering to the initial recommendations, authorities are also inspecting general safety at the sites.

The provincial government will take administrative measures, which may include an order to stop construction, against developers that failed to follow the recommendations.

대규모 사업장 재해 대비 점검

제주도가 사전재해영향성검토 협의를 실시한 대규모 개발사업장을 대상으로 오는 19일부터 5월까지 이행 여부를 점검합니다.

점검 대상은 관광지 조성과 공동주택 건설, 도로와 항만 건설 등 70개 사업장입니다.

특히 재해영향성검토 협의 당시 협의의견을 시공계획에 반영했는지 여부와 안전성 확보상태 등을 집중 점검합니다.

제주도는 협의사항을 이행하지 않은 사업장은 공사중지 명령 등 행정조치 할 예정입니다.
