4. Provincial sports festival begins April 13
15,000 to compete at Jeju Sports Complex

The 52nd Jeju Provincial Sports Festival begins April 13th at the Jeju Sports Complex.

745 teams comprising some 15,000 athletes will compete. There are events in elementary, middle, high school, and adult categories.

Beginning last year, adults were seperated into teams based on the towns, rather than the cities, they represent. That change is being credited for increasing the number of older participants to 179 this year.

The draw for matches is this Friday.


도민체전 내달 13일 제주종합경기장서 개최

제52회 도민체육대회가 다음달 13일 제주종합경기장에서 열립니다.

이번 대회에는 초,중,고등부와 일반부 경기에서 745개 선수단에 1만5천여 명의 선수와 스포츠 동호인들이 참가합니다.

특히 지난 대회부터 일반부 경기가 행정시에서 읍,면,동 마을별 대항전으로 바뀌면서 일반부 참가자가 179명 늘었습니다

대진 추첨은 오는 30일 이뤄집니다.
