5. New radio station: Jeju Buddhist Broadcasting System
BBS studio opens Sunday in Jeju City

The Jeju Buddhist Broadcasting System opened a radio station in Imhang-ro, Jeju City Sunday.

Governor Won Heeryong, council speaker Kim Tae-seok, and National Assembly member O Young-hoon participated in the opening ceremony and offered their congratulations.

BBS plans to air a variety of programs about all facets of society and culture from the Buddhist perspective.

It can be heard in Jeju City by tuning your radio to 94.9. In Seogwipo it’s at 100.5.

BBS 제주불교방송 개국

BBS 제주불교방송이 제주시 임항로 인근에 사옥을 마련하고 오늘(9일) 개국했습니다.

오늘 행사에는 원희룡 제주도지사와 김태석 제주도의회의장, 오영훈 국회의원 등이 참석해 개국을 축하했습니다.

BBS 불교방송은 앞으로 불교적 시각으로 사회, 문화 전반을 다루는 다양한 프로그램을 방송할 계획입니다.

송출 주파수는 제주시 94.9메가헤르츠, 서귀포시는 100.5메가헤르츠 입니다.
