5. Search for companies to use Biosphere Reserve ‘brand’
Province accepting applications through October 26

The provincial government is looking for companies to utilize Jeju’s Biosphere Reserve designation as a brand.

The initiative is open to agricultural, marine, and forest products produced in the reserve as well as other goods made from natural resources. The province is accepting applications through October 26th.

Selected companies will be allowed to use a Biosphere Reserve symbol on qualifying products as well as take advantage of exclusive sales locations and support for expo participation.

Eighteen local companies now sell a total of 34 products under the Biosphere Reserve brand.

제주특별자치도가 생물권보전지역 브랜드 활용업체를 공개 모집합니다.

대상품목은 생물권보전지역 내에서 생산되는 농수축임산물과 천연자원을 가공한 제품으로 접수는 오는 26일까지입니다.

브랜드 활용업체로 선정되면 해당 품목에 '생물권보전지역 상표'를 사용할 수 있으며 상설판매장 이용과 각종 박람회 참가를 지원받을 수 있습니다.

현재 생물권보전지역 브랜드를 활용하는 업체는 18곳이며, 품목은 34개입니다.
