Sales price index falls into negative territory

Local housing prices have begun moving into negative territory this year.

The Korea Appraisal Board says the housing sales price index last month was minus 0.05 percent. That represents a one-month drop of 0.19 percentage points.

It’s been five months since the index fell below zero, and the downward trend is accelerating.

The change in apartment sales prices was minus 0.32 percent in January. That’s twice the drop of the previous month.

도내 주택매매가격 하락세 뚜렷

올 들어 제주지역 주택매매가격이 뚜렷한 하락세를 보이고 있습니다.

한국감정원 주택가격동향조사 결과에 따르면 지난달 제주지역 주택매매가격 지수는 -0.05%로 전달보다 0.19%포인트 감소했습니다.

주택매매가격 지수가 마이너스대로 진입한 것은 5개월 만으로 감소폭은 점차 확대되고 있습니다.

특히 아파트의 경우 지난달 매매가격지수 변동률은 -0.32%로 전달보다 2배나 하락했습니다.
