4. Kyushu Olle celebrates 7th anniversary
Over 450K visitors since inception in 2012

Kyushu Olle Trail in Japan, a sister network to Jeju Olle, is celebrating both its’ 7th anniversary and a record number of visitors.
Kyushu Olle launched in February 2012 with the establishment of the Dakeo Trail, and has recently inaugurated their 22nd trail.

The Jeju Olle Corporation has assessed that over 455,000 hikers have traveled the trails since its’ opening. Of the total, an estimated 300,000 hikers were from Korea alone.

The Kyushu trails are seen to be especially popular with Korean citizens due to the close proximity to Korea and convenient travel routes.

Jeju Olle has two other sister networks abroad: the Mongol Olle and Miyagi Olle in Japan.

日 규슈올레 개장 7년…누적 방문객 45만명

제주올레의 자매 길인 일본 규슈올레가 개장 7년째를 맞은 가운데
누적 방문객이 45만 명을 넘어섰습니다.

사단법인 제주올레에 따르면
2012년 2월 다케오 코스가 개장한 이후
최근 22번째 코스가 개장하기까지
누적 방문객은 45만 5천명으로 집계됐습니다.

이 가운데 한국인은 약 30만명으로
규슈올레가 한국과 가깝고
교통망도 편리하기 때문으로 제주올레 측은 보고 있습니다.

제주올레는 규슈올레 외에도
몽골올레와 일본 미야기올레 등
해외 자매의 길을 넓혀가고 있습니다.
