2. Governor says securing airport operation right is ‘priority’
Province to discuss a ‘win-win’ plan with land ministry

The provincial government is finding ways to secure its right to operate the island’s new airport. Local officials are planning to do so by including a management scheme into the basic plan of the second airport.

Governor Won Hee-ryong stated on the 9th that he will work on devising a “win-win” plan with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport during their discussions on the basic plan of the new airport.

The governor stressed that it is his top priority to include management control over the airport and inter city road construction project into the basic plan.

He also stated his plans to release a fixed agenda by the third week of May and hold a public hearing at the end of this month or early next month to gather local opinion.

제주도 상생 방안을 확정한 뒤
다음주쯤 공개하겠다고 밝혔습니다.

특히 핵심적으로
공항 운영권과 연계광역도로 사업이 가장 중요하다며
이를 기본계획 용역에 반영하기 위해 노력하겠다고 강조했습니다.

그러면서 확정된 반영과제를 다음주에 공개하고
이달 말이나 다음달 초에 공청회를 열어
도민 의견을 수렴하겠다고 덧붙였습니다.
