101 assault cases recorded over the past 3 years

The Jeju Provincial Office of Education revealed a startling report on local teachers being abused by students.

Officials found a total of 101 cases of teachers being assaulted by students over the past three years. Verbal abuse topped the list with 42 cases, followed by 11 cases of disrespectful and interruptive student conduct and 6 cases of slander.

Local education office appointed a lawyer to consult teachers as part of the basic scheme to protect those working in the education field.

최근 3년 동안 101건에 이르고 있습니다.

유형별로 보면
폭언이 42건으로 가장 많았고
수업방해 11건, 모욕.명예훼손 6건 등으로 조사됐습니다.

교원 교육활동보호 기본계획에 따라
전담변호사를 위촉하고 상담.자문을 지원하고 있습니다.
