1. Seoul allots \1.47T of state budget to Jeju
Subsidies for agricultural product shipping costs exempt ‘again’

Seoul has finalized its budget for next year.

Seoul alloted 1.47 trillion won to the province, which is an 8.3 percent increase from this year's budget.

Seoul will cover 186.5 billion won of construction costs for the modernization project of local public sewage treatment facilities. It also reflected the construction project for a national highway bypass road and a gymnasium complex in the western part of the island on to next year’s budget.

However, Seoul decided not to subsidize shipping costs of local agricultural products, costs for constructing a welfare center at Jeju Port and an operation support enter at Seogwipo Port. The operation costs for the local dementia safety center will not be covered as well.

내년 국비 1조4천700억…농산물 운송비 또 미반영

정부의 내년 예산안이 확정된 가운데
또 다시 농산물 해상운송비는 전혀 반영되지 않았습니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면
내년 제주에 지원되는 국비는
균특회계를 포함해 1조 4천 700억원으로
올해보다 8.3% 늘어난 것으로 집계됐습니다.

특히 공공하수처리장 현대화사업이
당초 954억원에서 1천 865억원으로 늘어났고
신촌-회촌 구국도 건설사업과
제주시 서부지역 복합체육관 건립사업 예산도 반영됐습니다.

하지만 농산물 해상운송비를 비롯해
제주항만복지센터 건립과
서귀포항 운영지원센터 건축비,
치매안심센터 운영비는 전혀 반영되지 않았습니다.
