1. Jeju eases high level social distancing in stages
Airport, seaports to maintain special entrance procedures

The Jeju provincial government is gradually mitigating the high level social distancing precautions they had been strictly maintaining due to COVID-19.

Considering the start of schools, accumulated social fatigue, and regional economic impact, governor Won Hee-ryong says that Jeju is easing its high level of social distancing in accordance with national governmental policies.

As a result, public facilities are scheduled to gradually open if no problems arise with the start of school over the next two weeks.

The Jeju provincial government plans to maintain the airport and seaports' special entrance procedures and high-intensity quarantine against vulnerable groups and vulnerable facilities.

원희룡 지사는 브리핑을 통해
20일 학교 등교와 그동안 누적된
사회적 피로도, 지역경제 영향도 등을
감안해 고강도로 이어졌던
사회적 거리두기를 정부 방침 수준으로
완화한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라
앞으로 일주일에서 이주일 동안
등교 개학에 따른 문제가 없을
경우 공공시설도 단계적으로
개방할 예정입니다.

제주도는
공항만 특별입도절차와
감염병 취약계층과 취약시설에 대한
고강도 방역은 현행 그대로
유지할 방침입니다.
