4. Local special education schools to resume on the 27th
Decision made based on school preparedness and virus status

Classes at special education schools in Jeju will resume from the 27th of this month.

According to a survey of teachers and parents on the resumption of classes for special education students by the Jeju Provincial Office of Education, it showed that 54 percent of the respondents preferred school to resume on the 20th. Ultimately, the office decided to start schools on the 27th in consideration of the level of preparedness of the school and the trend of the spread of infection.

The survey did find that special education students need face-to-face classes due to their difficulties in adapting to remote classes.

대면 수업이 필요하다는 응답이 높았습니다.
