1. Jeju and Seogwipo City mayors appointed
Confirmation ceremony held with Governor Won

Jeju City mayor Ahn Dong-woo and Seogwipo City mayor Kim Tae-yeop have been confirmed today and have begun their mayoral duties.

Provincial governor Won Hee-ryeong presented them with appointment certificates at the provincial government office.

Their terms as mayors will be two years.

At the provincial council personnel hearings prior to their confirmations, the council released a ‘Qualified’ vote for Ahn Dong-woo and an ‘Unqualified’ vote for Kim Tae-yeop given his drunk driving history and suspicions of unethical transfer of property rights to his children.

결국 임명을 강행했습니다.
