￦292.5B in bonds to be issued in 2021
Amount increases by ￦30.5B

Jeju Island will issue nearly 300 billion won in local bonds next year and will take steps to finalize the agreement with the Jeju Provincial Council.

The province submitted a plan to the provincial council to issue 292.5 billion won worth of local bonds for 59 projects next year.

The plan includes 170 billion won for land compensation for long-term unexecuted urban planning facilities, 13 billion won for the construction of a gymnasium complex in the western region of Jeju City, and 11 billion won for the construction of a food waste disposal facility.

The issuance of local bonds next year is expected to increase by 30.5 billion won from this year, with the ratio of debt to budget rising from 10.4 percent to 13.2 percent.

Jeju Island plans to repay its high-interest rate debt earlier than scheduled and use 30% of its net surplus in general accounts for the repayment fund.

Meanwhile, the provincial council meeting will begin from October 13th.

오는 13일 개회하는 도의회에 제출했습니다.

발행 계획을 보면
장기미집행 도시계획시설 토지보상에 1천 700억 원,
제주시 서부지역 복합체육관 건립 130억 원,
광역 음식물류 폐기물 처리시설 조성 110억 원 등입니다.

내년 지방채 발행 규모는
올해보다 305억 원 늘어난 것으로
예산 대비 채무비율도
10.4%에서 13.2%로 높아질 전망입니다.

제주도는 고이율 채무를 조기상환하고
일반회계 순세계잉여금의 30%를 상환 재원으로 활용할 방침입니다.
