Survey management committee deems poll to be ‘objective and fair’

The provincial government has decided to deliver the results of the opinion poll of the second airport that was carried out by the media to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

The Public Opinion Survey Process Management Committee, which is composed of members of the provincial government and council and experts recommended by both the province and the council, held a meeting on the afternoon of the 19th to verify the results of the survey.

The committee concluded that some insufficiencies did occur in the age-specific survey as well as the raw data investigation related to Seongsan Village, but concluded that the survey was overall objective and fair.

The final results of the poll were submitted to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 23rd.

Residents are showing interest in what kind of policy judgments the ministry will make on the hot topic issue.
