Bars, PC cafes limited to operate until 11 p.m. through May 23
Violators will be fined up to ￦3M

The province will limit the business hours of entertainment pubs, karaoke, bars, public bath houses and PC cafes to 11:00 p.m. for two weeks through May 23rd.

The province said that administrative order was issued as a preemptive measure. Many visitors are reluctant to comply with inspections for fear of exposing their identities, which may lead to the widespread of coronavirus.

Those who violate the restrictions will be fined up to 3 million won or filed with criminal charges.

The province also announced plans to actively exercise the right to claim damages if the degree of violation is serious.

For other multi-use facilities, a special inspection of the quarantine regulations will be conducted by the 23rd. For violators, not only will a fine be imposed but gatherings will be prohibited and businesses may be suspended or be required to shut down if violations persist.

영업제한을 어길 경우 300만 원 이하의 과태료 부과나 형사고발할 방침입니다.

특히 위반정도가 중대할 경우 손해배상청구권을 적극적으로 행사할 계획이라고 밝혔습니다.

이와 함께 다른 다중이용시설에 대해서도
오는 23일까지 방역수칙 특별점검에 나서고 위반할 경우
과태료 부과뿐 아니라 집합금지 명령은 물론 지속적인 위반 업소에 대해서는
운영중단과 시설 폐쇄명령까지 내릴 방침입니다.
