Dream Tower completes large-scale shopping mall registration
Lotte Tourism Development to provide ￦110M for local community

Lotte Tourism Development has completed the registration process of large-scale stores in Jeju Dream Tower.

Lotte Tourism Development announced that it has completed the registration of large-scale stores by reaching a final agreement on the regional cooperation plan as a result of continuous consultations with Jeju City and local small business owners.

In return, Lotte Tourism Development plans to provide a total of 110 million won in funds to support low-income families, promote traditional markets in the old downtown area and improve infrastructure of the markets, according to the agreement.

Up until now, Lotte Tourism Development has been operating large-scale shopping malls without proper registration procedures which had led to increasing opposition by small business owners.



5. 드림타워 대규모 점포 등록 마쳐

롯데관광개발이 제주 드림타워 대규모 점포 등록을 마쳤습니다.

롯데관광개발은 제주시와 지역소상공인 중심으로 구성된
유통상생발전협의회와 지속적으로 협의한 결과
지역협력계획서에 최종 합의하면서
대규모 점포 등록을 완료했다고 밝혔습니다.

이번 지역협력계획에 따라 롯데관광개발은
대규모 점포 등록과 함께 저소득층 지원과 원도심 전통시장 홍보,
시설물 개선 등에 총 1억 1천만 원의 기금을 지원할 예정입니다.

롯데관광개발은 그동안 제대로된 등록절차 없이 대규모 쇼핑몰을 영업하면서
소상공인들의 반발을 받아왔습니다.
