Debate on using Jungseok Airfield
Debate scheduled for July 29

A debate of using the Jungseok Airfield as an airport will be held on the 29th. The second airport project has been halted as the Ministry of Environment rejected an environmental impact assessment.

Lawmaker (송재호) Song Jae-ho and (오영훈) Oh Young-hun of Democratic Party of Korea will hold the debate on expanding airport infrastructure and finding a solution for resolving conflicts at 2 p.m. on the 29th.

Participants will discuss alternatives of the Jeju International Airport and review utilizing Jungseok Airfield as an airport.

In particular, discussions will include technical review and solutions on issues of using the airfield as an airport including fog, gusts and overlapping airspace.

정석비행장 활용 검토 등이 논의됩니다.

특히 정석비행장 활용의 걸림돌로 지적됐던
안개 문제와 공역이 겹치는 문제,
돌풍 등에 대해 기술적 검토와 함께 극복 방안이 다뤄질 예정입니다.
