Jeju provincial government administered by acting governor
Continued focus on COVID-19

Following the resignation of Governor Won Hee-ryong, Administrative Vice-governor (구만섭) Koo Man-sub, who is the acting Jeju Governor, , emphasized a smooth completion of the government administration and COVID-19 quarantine measures.

During his official statement to the residents on the 12th, acting governor (구만섭) Koo Man-sup, stated that under the principle of cleanliness and coexistence, he would stably operate the remaining days in office and work to complete pending projects.

Regarding the COVID-19 situation, he said that he would speed up the implementation of local disaster aids in connection with the national government's second supplementary budget while enhancing a local quarantine system for Jeju.

Meanwhile, he added that the acting administration would take into consideration public opinions from all levels of society regarding the appointment of the Vice-governor for political affairs, which is now vacant with the resignation of Governor Won and fill the position as soon as possible.

신속하게 집행되도록 속도를 내겠다고 밝혔습니다.

한편 원 지사 사임과 동시에 공석이 된
정무부지사 임명에 대해
구 권한대행은
도민사회 여론과 각계각층의 의견을 듣고
빠른 시일 안에 결정하겠다고 덧붙였습니다.
