Murderer Sent to Prosecutor’s Office

The Jeju Dongbu Police Station sent a 44 year-old man surnamed Lee to the prosecutors’ office on the charge of murdering his live-in girlfriend with a deadly weapon after having drinks and arguments on the 4th in Ildo-dong, Jeju City.

It was reported that Lee had admitted
most of his crime during the police investigation.

In particular, Lee was imposed a restraining order
previously due to his violence.

Also, he was handed a suspended prison sentence and
was placed on probation back in September.



일도동서 동거녀 살해한 40대 남성 검찰 송치

제주동부경찰서는 지난 4일 제주시 일도동의 한 다세대 주택에서
술을 마시고 말다툼을 하던 중
함께 살던 동거녀에게 흉기를 휘둘러 숨지게 한 혐의로
44살 이 모 씨를 검찰에 송치했습니다.

경찰 조사에서
이 씨는 자신의 범행을 대부분 시인한 것으로 알려지고 있습니다.

특히 이 씨는 과거에도
피해자에게 폭력을 행사해 접근금지 명령을 받은 적이 있으며
지난 9월에는 법원으로부터
징역형의 집행유예에
보호관찰 선고를 받은 바 있습니다.
