Jeju Releases Old Footage

The provincial government will unveil the pictures and videos of the old Jeju provincial office building after restoring them through digital restoration technology.

The province plans to release 100 restored photos via its website and will upload additional 300 pictures.

Moreover, the videos which have been kept from 1996 through 2014 in the provincial office’s archive will also be recovered digitally and open to the public.

This project is pushed forward to save the various data permanently and utilize them as the contents for the public in various ways.

제주도가 과거 도정의 주요 사진과 영상을
디지털로 복원해 공개합니다.

제주도는 우선 복원한 사진 100장을
제주도청 누리집을 통해 공개하고
추가로 300장을 더 등록할 예정입니다.

앞으로도
1996년부터 지난 2014년까지 비디오테이프로 보존해온
주요 도정 자료을 디지털로 복원해 공개할 계획입니다.

이번 복원 사업은 각종 데이터를 영구 보존하고
공공의 콘텐츠로 다양하게 활용하기 위해 추진됐습니다.
