Steep Drop in Jeju Housing Market

Amid the steep decline in the real estate market across the country,
real estate transactions are shrinking, especially for apartments in Jeju.

According to the Korea Real Estate Agency, the number of apartments traded in the first six months of this year
was 247 households,
down 62% from the previous year.

As of the 22nd, apartment sales prices fell 0.03% from the previous week
and lease prices fell 0.01%.

Real estate representatives explained the cause of the decrease in buying sentiment is due to the burden of loan interests and the sharp rise in market prices following
four unprecedented hikes in interest rates.




아파트 매매 '뚝'…매매·전세가 동반 하락


전국적으로 부동산 경기 하락세가 이어지는 가운데 제주에서도 아파트를 중심으로 부동산 거래가 위축되고 있습니다.

한국부동산원에 따르면 올들어 지난 6월까지 거래된 아파트는 247세대로 전년 대비 62% 감소했습니다.

지난 22일 기준으로 아파트 매매가는 전주보다 0.03% 전세가는 0.01% 하락했습니다.

부동산 업계는 사상 초유의 기준 금리 네 차례 인상에 따른 대출이자 부담과 급격한 시세 상승 여파로 매수심리가 줄었다고 설명했습니다.
