The Province has received the Minister of Public Administration and Security Award for the Best Practice Category under the Local Government Information and Communication division hosted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

Jeju was selected for its next-generation Wi-Fi 6E-based information and communication technology convergence service.

In particular, Jeju received good marks for establishing a roaming zone at Jeju Airport using unlicensed frequencies, providing non-face-to-face sports relay services,
services for small business smart solutions based on artificial intelligence robots, and applying new technologies to local businesses.

The next-generation Wi-Fi 6E has the advantage of being able to accommodate up to four times faster and 1.5 times more concurrent users than the traditional Wi-Fi.

차세대 와이파이 6E는 기존의 와이파이보다 최대 4배 빠른 속도와 1.5배 높은 동시접속자를 수용할 수 있다는 장점을 갖고 있습니다.
