As a result of the The ‘Thermometer of Love’ campaign conducted by Jeju Island and the Jeju Community of Chest of Korea collected 4.76 billion won, exceeding the target of 4.04 billion won.

In particular, the ‘Thermometer of love’ campaign reached 117.9 degrees, the highest since COVID-19. Fundraising events were held in poor conditions such as the economic downturn due high interest rates, consumer prices and exchange rates in addition to the cold wave, and rising heating costs.

The annual fundraising reached 11.73 billion won last year, raising more than 10 billion won for the third consecutive year. Meanwhile, the collected funds will be used to support heating fees and job support projects for the vulnerable, and for care support projects.




희망 나눔 캠페인 47억 6천만원 모금…목표 초과


제주도와 제주도사회복지공동모금회가 희망 2023 나눔 캠페인을 펼친 결과 47억 6천 410만원을 모아 목표액인 40억 4천만원을 초과 달성했습니다.

특히 신3고로 인한 경기 침체와 기습적인 한파, 난방비 상승 등 열악한 환경에서도 진행된 모금을 통해 사랑의 온도탑은 코로나19 이후 가장 높은 117.9도를 달성했습니다.

이와 함께 지난해 연간모금액은 117억 3천만원을 달성하며 3년 연속 100억 원 이상을 모금하는 성과를 이뤘습니다.

한편 이번 나눔 캠페인을 통해 모인 성금은 에너지취약계층 난방비 지원과 취약계층의 일자리 지원사업, 돌봄 지원 사업 등에 활용될 예정입니다.
