Jeju Island recognized and announced the Deoksu-ri Village Association as the owning association to the, Jeju’s Intangible Cultural asset, the (덕수리 불미) Deoksu-ri Bulmi craft.

Deoksu-ri Bulmi is a traditional Jeju technology that makes daily necessities and agricultural tools.

Deoksu-ri Village has held a reenactment event every year since 1991, demonstrating Deoksu-ri Bulmi, and has been striving to pass down and promote the craft through regular training programs.

In addition,Deoksu-ri Bulmi has been recognized to have the capacity and foundation to preserve its skills and foundations.




덕수리마을회, 무형문화재 불미공예 단체 인정


제주도가 제주도 무형문화제 덕수리불미공예의 보유단체로 덕수리마을회를 인정 고시했습니다.

덕수리불미공예는 불미와 흙 거푸집을 이용해 무쇠로 솥과 보습 등 생활필수품이나 농기구를 만드는 제주 전통 기술입니다.

덕수리 마을은 지난 1991년부터 매해 재현 행사를 열어 덕수리불미공예를 시연하고 있으며, 정기 전수교육 등 전승하고 알리기 위해 노력해 왔습니다.

또 심사과정에서 전승에 필요한 기량과 기반 등을 두루 갖췄으며 전승에 참여하는 주된 구성원이 젊고 전승 의지가 매우 높은 것으로 인정받았습니다.
