Jeju City will impose environmental improvement fees of over 1.1 billion KRW on 24,500 diesel vehicles in the first half of this year.

The fee applies to diesel vehicles that were produced before July 2012, and have not been certified as low-pollution vehicles.

The amount of the fee will vary based on the total engine displacement and vehicle type, and will be calculated based on the number of days the vehicle has been in use
if it has been disposed of or transferred to a new owner.

The deadline for payment is the end of this month, and a 3% surcharge will be added for those who do not pay within the deadline.





제주시, 경유차 2만 4천여대 환경개선부담금 부과


제주시가 경유 자동차 2만4천500여 대에 대해 올해 1기분 환경개선부담금 11억여 원을 부과합니다.

부과 대상은 2012년 7월 이전 생산된 저공해 차량으로 인증되지 않은 경유 자동차입니다.

이번 환경개선부담금은 총배기량과 차령 등에 따라 차등 부과되며 차량을 처분했거나 소유자가 변경된 경우 사용 일수만큼 계산됩니다.

납부기한은 이달 말까지로 기한 내 납부하지 않을 경우 3%의 가산금이 부과됩니다.
