Through the first 4.3 Incident Fact-Finding Committee on Jeju this year,additional victims and recipients of compensation have been determined.

The Jeju April 3 Incident Truth Commission and the Committee for the Restoration of Honor of Victims have recently ratified 7 victims, 222 applicants for compensation, and 3 requests for missing persons' declarations and have submitted the cases for the central committee’s review.

On the flip side, concerning compensation claims thus far, out of the over 8,000 applications received, assessments have been completed for roughly 4,400, accounting for approximately 54.8%.

희생자 7명과 보상금 신청 222명,
실종 선고 요청 3명을 의결하고
4.3 중앙위원회에 최종 심의 결정을 요청했습니다.

한편 현재까지 보상금 신청과 관련해
접수된 8천여 명 가운데
54.8%인 4천4백여 명에 대해 심사가 완료됐습니다.
