According to the comprehensive survey conducted by Jeju City on abandoned vacant houses,118 vacant houses have been identified in rural areas and 60 vacant houses in urban areas.

Jeju City plans to allocate 200 million won for the removal of the vacant houses.


The focus will be on 27 buildings in 11 locations, primarily located along main roads, which pose risks of disaster and are potential areas of concern for youth delinquency.

Some of the vacant houses slated for removal will be transformed into public parking lots free of charge.
