As healthcare professionals stage collective strikes there has been mounting concern about the expanding healthcare disparity, with reports emerging of civilian harm.

Jeju Island officials have reported that as of the 5th of last month, three cases of civilian harm have been brought to the attention of the government-operated Medical Group Action Damage Report Center.

Two cases entail surgery delays, while one involves delayed treatment.

Jeju Island authorities are currently investigating these reported incidents, focusing on the hospitals implicated.
