Jeju City conducts year-round inspections on food products to ensure they meet safety standards, instilling confidence in citizens regarding their consumption.

The target items for collection include processed foods, agricultural and fisheries products, and health-functional foods, with plans to select over 1,200 items.

Priority is given to strengthening inspections of recently popular food items, utilizing consumption trends and statistics.

Last year, Jeju City conducted inspections on 1,209 items, resulting in the discovery of 4 unsuitable products, which were subsequently handled according to relevant laws.



제주시, 유통식품 수거·검사 연중 실시

제주시가 시민들이 안심하고 먹을 수 있는 식품이 유통될 수 있도록 유통식품 수거 검사를 연중 실시합니다.

수거대상 품목은 가공식품과 농.수산물, 건강기능식품 등 1천 200여 개 이상 선정할 계획입니다.

특히 소비동향과 통계를 활용해 최근 많이 소비되는 식품에 대해 우선 검사를 강화합니다.
