Jeju City is currently conducting a survey to identify single elderly households at risk of social isolation and other related concerns. The deadline for the survey is next month.

The survey will target single-person households with residents who turn 50 this year and those not surveyed in the second half of last year, assessing living conditions, health, welfare needs, and related aspects.

Jeju City aims to offer comprehensive aid to identified at-risk households through public and private efforts, especially targeting those susceptible to isolation.

Initiatives to enhance living conditions and facilitate social connection will begin in the second half of the year.

Last year Jeju City offered 692 households with tailored services.

제주시가 다음 달까지 사회적 고립 위험 등에 처한
장년층 1인 가구 발굴을 위한 실태조사를 실시합니다.

올해 50살이 된 1인 가구와 지난해 하반기 미조사된 가구 등을 대상으로 주거와 건강 상황, 복지요구 등을 점검합니다.

발굴 대상에 대해서는 공적 제도와 민간자원 등을 연계 지원하고 고독사 위험군의 경우 하반기부터
생활 환경 개선과 사회적 관계망 프로그램 등을 지원합니다.

한편 제주시는 지난해 692가구를 발굴해 맞춤형 서비스를 지원했습니다.
