Jeju launches research to tackle overcharging issues in tourism, led by the Fiscal Economic Forum.

The Province's Assembly Research Group, the Fiscal Economic Forum, announced it would pursue a research service to diagnose tourism prices in the Jeju region and offer policy implications.

The research service will be conducted by the Corporation for the Korea Regional Innovation Research Institute, which will diagnose tourism fees and propose feasible follow-up measures at the level of Jeju Province.

Representative Park Ho-hyung (박호형) expressed concerns regarding the increasing negative perceptions surrounding Jeju's tourism sector.
He emphasized that the assembly would actively use the research service's findings to address and resolve the issues.
