Jeju has broadened its housing deposit return guarantee program, initially launched last year.

The project, originally launched to secure Jeonse deposit refunds, has been expanded to include all ages. In addition, the income requirements have been relaxed.

Eligibility is for provincial tenants who do not own their own homes and have a rental deposit below 300 million won.

Income limits are set at up to 50 million won for young individuals, 60 million won for older households, and under 75 million won for newlyweds within seven years of marriage.

Support for the guarantee fee is capped at 300,000 won, with young people and newlywed couples eligible for the full amount, while other tenants receive 90% coverage.



전세보증금 반환보증료 지원사업 전 연령 확대

제주도가 전세피해 예방을 위해 지난해부터 시행하고 있는 청년 전세보증금 반환보증료 지원사업을 전 연령으로 확대하고 소득요건도 완화합니다.

대상은 도내 임차보증금 3억 원 이하의 주택에 거주하는
무주택 임차인으로 부부 합산 연소득이 청년 5천만 원 이하,
청년 외 가구는 6천만 원, 혼인신고 7년 이내 신혼부부는 7천 500만 원 이하입니다.

보증료 지원은 최대 30만 원 범위에서 청년 또는 신혼부부의 경우 보증료 전액을, 청년 외 임차인은 보증료의 90%입니다.
