Seogwipo City is expanding its eco-friendly feed subsidy program in an effort to promote the production of sustainable, environmentally friendly seafood.

This year, the program will support 158 aquaculture farms with a total budget of 5.79 billion KRW.

Beginning this year, the subsidy will also extend to farms that use a combination of compound feed and live feed.

Each farm will be eligible for an annual subsidy of up to 230 million KRW. Seogwipo City also plans to conduct feed usage inspections at least once in both the first and second halves of the year for participating farms.
