To mark Earth Day, the Jeju Hallasan National Park Management Office is launching a "No Disposable Items on Hallasan" campaign from April 12 to 22.

Participants are encouraged to share photos of themselves using eco-friendly items, such as tumblers, reusable lunch boxes, handkerchiefs, or raincoats, on the park’s official social media channels.

A draw will be held at the end of the event, with 22 winners receiving small commemorative gifts.

In addition, the Hallasan National Park will roll out a series of environmental initiatives in coming months. These include a plogging event where participants pick up litter while jogging, at Witse Oreum (윗세오름) in May and a quiz event to commemorate the inscription of Hallasan as a UNESCO World Heritage site in June.

오는 12일부터 22일까지 일회용품 없는 한라산 인증 행사를 진행합니다.

한라산 공식 사회관계망에
텀블러나 다회용 도시락 이용, 손수건 사용,
다회용 우비 착용 등의 모습을 촬영해 게시하는 방식이며
추첨을 통해 22명에게 소정의 기념품을 증정합니다.

한라산국립공원은 이 외에도 5월 윗세오름 일대 플로깅과
6월 세계자연유산 등재 기념 퀴즈 풀기 등
다양한 환경보전 캠페인을 진행할 예정입니다.
