Students from Princeton University in the United States have come to Jeju Island to participate in a “learn-cation” ? a combination of learning and vacation.

Today, the students visited Camellia Village in Seonheul-ri (선흘리), Jocheon-eup (조천읍), where they engaged with elderly women who have taken up painting later in life. The students shared discussions and appreciated their artwork, gaining insight into a unique cultural aspect of Jeju.

Jeju Province and Jeju National University are also planning similar learn-cation programs with students from other institutions, including George Mason University, the University of Utah, and the State University of New York at Stony Brook. These initiatives aim to build a global education innovation ecosystem through such cultural and educational exchanges.

제주도와 제주대학교는
프리스턴대학교 외에도 조지메이슨대와 유타대,
뉴욕주립대 스토니브룩 등의 학생들과 런케이션을 준비하고 있으며
이같은 행사를 통해
글로벌 교육 혁신 생태계를 구축한다는 계획입니다.
