Construction orders in Jeju recorded the steepest drop on record last year.

According to the Statistics Korea Jeju Office, the total value of
construction orders in the province fell to about 600 billion won, down 53.2 percent from a year earlier.

It marks the largest decline since related data began in 2000.

Meanwhile, key indicators of the local economy also weakened, with industrial production down 1.6 percent and service-sector output falling 5.4 percent year on year.

지난해 제주도내 건설수주액은
약 6천억원으로
전년보다 53.2% 급감했습니다.

이는 관련 통계가 제공된 2000년 이후 가장 큰 감소폭입니다.

이와 함께
지난해 광공업 생산은 전년보다 1.6%
서비스업 생산은 5.4% 각각 감소하는 등
지역경제 주요 지표들이 부진한 것으로 나타났습니다.
