Jeju Fire and Safety Headquarters will introduce an AI-based ECG interpretation system next month, the first of its kind nationwide.

Under the system, 119 crews share ECG readings taken on scene. AI analyzes them quickly and sends results to hospitals in real time.

Officials say this may help hospitals decide whether to accept a patient and prepare emergency surgery before arrival, improving the golden time.

Meanwhile, when Jeju Fire Services pilot-operated the system last year, the ECG implementation rate reached 20.2%, and the rate of appropriate hospital transport increased by 6%.

한편 제주소방이 지난해 해당 시스템을 시범 운영한 결과 심전도 시행률은 20.2%,
적정 병원 이송률은 6% 상승한 것으로 나타났습니다.
